During our recent family vacation at Touristenheim Bergfreude, we found it to be a welcoming haven for families like ours. Located just a 5-minute drive from Leukerbad Therme, we enjoyed the convenience of exploring the thermal baths and nearby hiking trails. The room was well-equipped for our family of four, and the shared bathroom was always clean and tidy. Chantal Kofmehl-Fugnanesi, who runs the hostel, was friendly and helpful, sharing great tips about the local fauna and flora. Each day, we embarked on hikes, soaking in the stunning mountain scenery - a wonderful way to connect with nature. The ski lifts, only a 10-minute walk away, opened up a fantastic 55-km ski area. We spent a memorable afternoon on the slopes, capturing laughter and joy as a family. With its open and quiet space, Touristenheim Bergfreude is an ideal destination for families seeking both adventure and relaxation in a charming village. Highly recommend it for your next trip!
